I’m Jorge Alvariño and I started working as a fotofija in film shoots, making promotional photographs and movie posters with international producers and distributors like Apaches Entertainment, Aurum, Paramount, Universal Pictures, Telecinco Cinema or Antena 3 Films.

I have carried out advertising campaigns for different clients: Coca Cola, Banco Santander, BBVA, Bancaja, EMI music and, since mid-2011, I am represented in advertising by Maribel Zaldivar, for the agency Essencial.

I have portrayed celebrities such as Elijah Wood, Javier Bardem, Alec Baldwin, Sasha Gray, Clive Owen, Pau Gasol, Daniel Brühl, Corey Feldman for publications such as Esquire, Empire, Rolling Stone, Premiere, American Cinematographer, Vogue, El Pais Semanal, El Sunday and other international journals. I am currently the director of photography of the magazines for ipad VIS-À-VIS and MINE.
