Ricardo Pinzón began as a child taking pictures with an analog camera. He exhibited his personal work in exhibitions and books while studying Advertising in Bogotá, which would connect him to the world of editorial and advertising photography.

Later on, when doing a master’s degree on photography in the International Center for Photography and Cinema (EFTI) in Madrid, he discovered contemporary photography, which changed the way he approached editorial works. Once back in Colombia, he became established as an editorial photographer taking pictures to celebrities and worked for renowned international magazines: Vanity Fair UK, Bloomberg, Getty Images, Esquire México or El País (Spain). Back then he became Photography Director in the famous magazine Esquire Colombia.

Today, after a 20-year career, he works as a freelance photographer specialized in advertising and editorial photography for important national and international clients: Mango, Sony Music, Falabella, DDB, Leo Burnett or Mullen Lowe, among others.
